Some of them looking very similar. I would say, murakami is releasing at least 5000 up to 10000 prints each year. Most of them at a price of 500 Euro.

Does not seem to me that the twins are so old, they are born in 1973, then I hope that they do not make other prints from here to thirty years because the price at which they have sold this, is not the foundation of the castle, it's the roof. it is a print. I was taught that you should not invest when the value of the shares is skyrocketing but when it is low to have a greater margin of safety |

Haha nice for some to realise that the twins have been hard at work for years. This collab with banksy wasn't a result of some 'hot' flash in the pan artist getting lucky.
4k is only expensive depending which frame you view it through.

If the print sold at this price is just for the collaboration with banksy and because they had never done other prints in the past. If they do not want to bring down the price of this print surely they can not do others prints in the next years saw the price at which they have sold this one, because as soon as they will make another print this idea of uniqueness will vanish. For Those excited about the collaboration with banksy I remind you that Mr Brainwash has an entire movie shot in collaboration with Banksy |

But I think even more that 4k is an absurd price for a print. I want to give you an example; Takashi Murakami is at number 21 of 500 in the world rankings in sales of contemporary art 2012/2013 (at number 58 Banksy, Os Gemeos at number 247). The auction turnover of Murakami was €8,128,118 in 2012/2013, against the €471.784 of the twins . Despite this you can find on ebay Takashi Murakami prints even at less than 1,000 Euros. Pharrell spends 500k for a Murakami Original even if there are prints on ebay at less of 1k; Because an original is an original and a print is a print..this is the truth
Please can you explain this for me as I'm genuinely interested and looking to add another canvas to my collection as the last one took 2 years to source and a near remortgage of my house to fund and not what I would describe as "easy":

And it's great seeing a lot of the new members on here and other forums in shock about the price. I think i would've been the same had i just started to like urban/street/graffiti/art within the last year. That sounds patronizing and i don't mean it that way...but i've been trying to get an Os Gemeos piece in my collection for about 6.5 years. It's not easy and whenever one did become avvailable I never had the (extreme) funds needed to purchase. For me, this is getting a piece of their art for (relatively) cheap.
