Eventful journey thus far to Cheltenham. Decided to drive to Dublin and stay with friends before an early morning flight from the West of Ireland... to then realise I'd forgotten my driving license, had to turn around and go back... taking a break before kris crossing the country again.... hope its worth it... Paint the Clouds in the Foxhunters is going to make or break my week, have a treble going onto him that will buy a very nice piece of art if he performs to the same level as his stable mate Cole Harden today.

Keep an eye on McKinley and Noble Endeavor in the Martin Pipe, Ted Veale in the Grand Annual, Martello Tower and Our Sam in Albert Bartlett... Kalkir in Triumph but Peace and Co will be hard bet. Rich Coast (Meades in the County ) and maybe mad but On His Own if the rain comes in Gold Cup.

I have a real fucking problem that a forum based on street art thinks that an event that is all about the establishment, the rich, the landed gentry, hunting etc is something that warrants talking about, and worse still, enjoying. 

Obviously horse racing has many connotations that mean different things to different people - not unlike art. As certainly seems to be particularly the case sometimes in the UK with its class system. I'm not from the UK - certainly not establishment, rich and come from a country with more than a passing dislike of English landed gentry.

For me Cheltenham is a great sporting occasion that appeals to mass array of differing people - the smidgen of hope of a bit of bookie bashing being unifying of focus of all !

This is obviously a forum for street art - but has always has been a medium to discuss other interest shared by users - this thread being on the go for a number of years. I'm sure theres other to exercise your artistic taste if not for you. 

Same here. Perhaps a bit different in the states but I do love the racetrack and have been going since im a little kid. Got a huge suprise a few years back when some artists did a bunch of murals at the track near where I grew up(even picked up a J.Iurato print from it)
