You're a respected member of this board, who had inside knowledge directly from PC so yeah i would've probably thought about how this was all going to play out in greater detail had this information had come to light prior to the drop. Most other people would've too I would imagine. No hands need being held here btw, we all freely (some more than others) divulge information, rumours and such here as that is generally how most find out about things happening in this scene and i see this example being no different. I think the quote is a clever olive branch to dig BNE out of a hole.
He didn't need to post anything, could have just kept schtum as per normal and let Jo Brookes etc get on with things.. The quote is still online too. I would have thought the Syria vid would have been up there but still the water charity statement..

Speaking for myself, I don't think that is right. I missed out on the 3 t-shirts the week before (would have loved the invader) and thought that this would be cool. I agree with you. In a lot of cases the cover up is worse than the original incident. If BNE would just explain what happened, in a very transparent manner I think it would be water off his back (no pun intended). It worked for Shepard Fairey and the Obama pic. People make mistakes, life goes on. |

We absolutely don't deal with the sales of those t-shirts so I am not the one to contact about that.
Nevertheless, what I can guarantee is that Invader did collaborate with BNE for this tee like Shepard Fairey and Faile did.
I guess BNE is just overpassed with emails and orders and that is why he can't answer you.

I haven't complained yet because it was for a charity and just assumed they know knowing about packing art work and something about raising money for a good cause.
