However he apparently had quite a bit of credabilty before the sales of the T shirts from other artists and community? From what I read back in March he is (was) capable of earning money from his own art? Why would he ostracise himself so stupidly, and cause this train wreck Is he Jasons brother? as an aside, how much money do you think he would clear from all these sales?

BNE is (was?) a great artist with incredible good reputation. And he did a lot of good stuff for charity. I have no affiliations with BNE in any way. I am as confised as everybody else, to be honest i have no idea what to do right now. I ordered a shirt but at this point i think i would like my money back. I never questioned BNE in the past (about his charity work) but in this case there is no way to know what happened with the money and how many tees have been sold.....

Hard to say. But let's just guess that he sold 500 of each, which I think is a reasonable guess.
I got the shirt today. Usually, shirts have an RN number on them that let's you identify the blank. I think they're required even by U.S. law, but not 100% sure.
Anyway, he claimed they were an organic blank, which would put them at about $7 per shirt. Judging by the feel of the shirt, my gut instinct is it's not organic. I suspect they're more like a $3 shirt. (I've printed a few for charity and my friend owns a t-shirt company, so I have some experience here.)
So hypothetically, he could have cleared $37 per shirt x 5 different shirts x 500 of each. Which would be $92,500 profit. Take away the $3,500 he sent to charity and it's still a very good day for him.

Personally, I think he needs to work on the names. They're a bit wordy.

What has BNE done to make it NOT seem like a scam from the start? The phantom COA's is the smoking gun really. If only there was a way for everyone with the Faile tshirt to check in.
