Contrary to an item that appeared for a short time yesterday evening (“Stealing Banksy auction doesn’t benefit charity” ~ 1 May), we are happy to make clear that Step by Step London Ltd is a successful UK registered charity (www.stepbystepkids.org.uk) active in Haringey, Hackney and Barnet and caring for over 120 special needs children. Our suggestion that it does not exist was based on a misunderstanding. It follows that there is no basis for questioning The Sincura Group’s conduct in encouraging and facilitating charitable donations to Step by Step. We apologise to both Step by Step and to The Sincura Goup.

If Sincura are going to make a street art museum then how come they are only interested in lifting Banksy's off walls to put in the alledged museum and not other street art made by other people?

Did any of the pièces get any bids and what was the high bids on each piece?
I have a better plan for a street art museum.
Just leave the street art in the street and recreate the pieces with stencil technique and other techniques in a museum.
Sort of a big room with the best of street art from aroud the Uk or world or universe recreated by artists.
It's a lot cheaper than lugging huge blocks of wall around.
but there again the point of lugging huge blocks of wall around is to sell it for a nice big fat profit.
