As long as they are into selling in person, then I feel pretty good. Lining up + trying online usually ends well.
And everything I said about cost before I threw out the window when I saw detailed pics of 'Fight Club'

Apparently 10 large canvases at ยฃ65k+ VAT (assume $100K) and 5 'smaller' pieces at 4ft by 2ft (price to be confirmed). There is an image of one of the smaller portraits on his instagram. Be interesting whether prices change given the slide in sterling on Scottish referendum worries (1.70 to 1.60 in a couple of days) or they are really targeting US buyers only. Not heard details on print run/ price.

For example if I purchase something from the states I have to pay UK VAT at the point of entry into the country, but don't have to pay tax there.
This may be complete codswallop but it's what I thought happens

This is just untrue. I've bought from Laz and had the VAT removed every time. I'm in NYC.
