There's a short piece about it and some stunning photos on their website here. Dead Meat was one of the most impressive bodies of work I saw in 2012, so I'm sure this is going to be pretty special too.

And the piece by him that I own is on of, if not, the favorite pieces in my collection.
I will be very interested to see how America takes to him.
I say that just because I feel that there is something about his work that is (I was going to say British, but I know he is Irish) quintessentially European. I guess it's the old master feel to the works, fused with a modern twist.
I'm probably not explaining myself very well. At least I know what I mean. I will be interested to see whether this results in the US art world liking his work more or less.
To that end, maybe New York as a choice of city was carefully made. I have never been, but I get the impression that it is rather cosmapolitan.
Hope I'm making some sense.
Either way, I am very excited to see his new work. Sorry I won't be able to see it in person. I did see his last two shows in person, and pictures do not do the work justice, even a little bit.

But if anyone can do it I would say it's him; there aren't many artists out there with his technical skills, original style and aesthetic and whose work genuinely has something relevant to say. It's a bit of a gamble but I would be very surprised if it didn't pay off.
