IMO, despite the edition size differences, 21st Century Love is Micallef most well known piece, by far, and it is his epic and defining image.....GIRD is pretty much inside baseball; a print that was sold to those 'in the know' and whose existence is not really well known in general....The amount of exposure the image has had is negligible compared to 21st century love....
Image is everything, and to me, 21st CL takes it hands down....

As the owner of both of these, I will tell you that it's almost impossible to tell that GIRD is a print. I'm a little confused on the math tho: if Laz sold one for around 7K how is it now worth 5? Just curious.
On the other hand, 21st CL is without a doubt the most iconic image Micallef has ever created. It's the cover of his book. It's what they plastered all over LA to promote his show.

GITRD is georgeous, 21stCL is recognisable but hardly a looker. take away the social relavance and you have an anachronism, pure and simple.
i'd put bomber girl WAY above 21stCL too, familiar doesn't equal iconic, wind your necks in FFS.
