Always someone out to make a quick buck off other peoples efforts.
That piece was painted for all of us to enjoy, and if it eventually deteriorates (as it inevitably would) or gets tagged, well that's the nature of street art. It should not be stuck in some private collection for one rich person to enjoy. Shame on whoever is doing this, if it's true.

But street artist Dice67 said the boards had only been put up around the artwork.
'Definitely removing it'
"I've been down there and had a look and there's no platform to get above it and they've drilled through the walls," he said.
"They're definitely removing it I think."
And Phil Richards, a resident who has been standing guard over the work, said the way it was being done "seems a bit dodgy".
"It's not a solid wall, he could have chosen a better one to put it on," he said.

I wouldn't fancy the responsibility of getting the render off without damaging the artwork.
