If its the art you really want, then POW are pretty unspohisticated - they are screen prints after all - go for a giclee or WCP

Regardless of their market value today I guess it depends if you want a print to keep for ever and ever and ever or to re sell short term investment style or as a long term investment.

I have. Due to poor buying and desperate selling though.

That's disappointing about 'Applause' though - now that I'm looking closer at it, it does seem like you can sort of see the printy-looking parts (I don't know art terms). That was one of my top to-gets.
Pulp Fiction print looks incredible in person.

hard to say b/c by the time you've saved up, the prices may have already changed haha. things are getting weird now
EDIT: there was actually a signed napalm that went for auction for $9,000 this year, right? I thought that seemed particularly low.
you can also try going for damaged prints, or that happy choppers signed poster - that looked great (although it seemed like someone had jumped on that, maybe not). although i think that unsigned golf sale with pin holes in it went for a decent amount, so i have no idea what's going on anymore. so yea, things are weird now

then again, I was able to get at cost over the years, so my perception of what a Banskly is worth is somewhat tainted
