Too many trolls crying about not getting their Banksy tee shirt. Im sorry here but how can you call them 'Trolls'?, they were told by BNE that it was a Banksy collab when clearly it was not. Can you explain what BNE was thinking at that point?. edit. Just adding, I myself did not order a Tee.

I didn't because I believed the money would go to the charity and I support almost anything for a good cause. Having said this, if the money went to charity, I wouldn't be bothered if the shirt was looking like this s**t. Now that the money was not even donated, I do not only think that the shirt is s**t, but also that BNE is a full bunch of s**t.
He has never been open at all. And that is fine as long as you make sure that once money is involved, the money goes to a place it belongs too.
And to be honest, how stupid is it that I can buy a print for US$ 500 while my neighbor who didn't buy the shirt must pay $ 6000 for the print. It is price discrimination since the print doesn't make a difference between us both and a price difference of $ 5500 cant be compared with a payment for a shirt of just $ 80.
And nobody knows anything about the print, so why is there such a price difference. Is it the artist wanted this? If so, don't you think it will help the flippers as well?
BNE is full of horse s**t and people will be fooled again on the 18th of September if no one is allowed to see this stupid print or receives any other information.
Ok, now I'm upset. I will return to finish my choco pops and get back to my turntables.

I also followed Benet pre BNE water, from SF blockbuster days. I feel there was a mixup with Banksy, he effed up and should have just canceled the whole thing, but didnt. Now we're here, and Im trying to believe that he's attempting to make it up to those that got duped, while punishing the resellers. he does have relationships with a ton of artists, and at bare minimum that is legit. Im sure a ton of the people that are upset hadnt heard of him pre-banksy scandal.
I know nothing as far as the charity, and as far as faile. Im paying just enough attention that if something special comes up, I'll pounce on it for blowing $100 a few months ago. Considered it a night out without the hangover.

If he gave it to a charity just provide proof from that charity that they recieved the money.
Using the guilt factor on people to get them to buy a t shirt is very bad in my book.
The facts speak for themselves and no matter how many people say otherwise BNE is too evasive when providing facts.
Not only tha but according to some internet posts, lawyers are looking at BNE's activities too.

I got an email from Faile stating that BNE agreed to include the COAs after they voiced concerns that they suspected he oversold their shirt.
They printed and shipped the COAs well in advance of the shirts being shipped. The first they heard about the COAs not being included was when fans wrote and asked what happened to them.
Given their track record and given BNE's, I think we all know who's telling the truth here.

There is plenty of speculation about oversold Ts, what he knew and when about banksy, how much if any money will actually get donated, etc etc etc. I do not need to speculate to know that he has a track record of not doing what he says he will do. SO i have no reason to give him the benefit of the doubt on anything, so why bother speculating. If you are a trusting sole and don't feel burned god bless, there is a bunch of great stuff for you to buy on ebay too. some real bargains.

Why oh why do people keep repeating themselves..I find it truly comical that the same guys that keep posting the same stuff .I havent purchased a shirt but I will be elated if there is something at the end...After all you guys getting a 6 month ride for ยฃ60..I can think of something else what cost ยฃ60 which would last probably one night in a Bristol club..
So after a good 5 months, possibly 5 or 6 different threads Ive noticed quite a few regular posters say "get over it" or "Its a definite scam".
Why oh why do people keep repeating themselves..I find it truly comical that the same guys that keep posting the same stuff .I havent purchased a shirt but I will be elated if there is something at the end...After all you guys getting a 6 month ride for ยฃ60..I can think of something else what cost ยฃ60 which would last probably one night in a Bristol club..

It happens all the time with lots of scammers.
From whatever info is online it looks like he is just digging himself a big hole anyway

Yours is an admirably healthy approach to take. The only minor issue with this logic is that plenty of others here also received $80 worth of entertainment. But they got it free of charge, as spectators on the sidelines or after getting refunded once the deceit became apparent.
Without us (We, the people spending 80usd on a blank shirt) you guys would not have been so entertained right?
