Looks too sharp, precise in places and almost looks like the image has been forced or digitally altered to make it rawer in form. For me it just doesn't seem 'in this image' to have the grittiness of Conor's work or capture the moment or feeling of the subjects. Plus I find the colours used quite unsettling. I'm sure most will disagree but I feel a little disappointed if this is it, even for the reasonable price.
Perhaps an original would be more appealing for me rather then a print. Now only the cash. ;-)

There seems to be a lot of elements to it or references perhaps....i like to know what is going on, that's what makes it clever or thought provoking...can anyone shed some light? It's a bit Manet and will appeal to the mainstream.

...hmm, I'm with you. Compositionally quite similar to WWWK, but lacking something for me. Maybe it's the big expanse of black that's filled with the roughly applied gold leaf on most of the Dead Meat work, it contrasts so brilliantly with the fine detail in the painting and gives a real feeling of opulence.
Agree with jusdeep about the colours too, seems a little over-saturated and artificial (unless it's just the preview image).
Maybe it's just because I have an attachment to the Dead Meat imagery that I'm just not feeling this one.
Still, lovely big affordable print that should enable a lot of CH fans to get something on their walls... kudos to Outsiders yet again.

Thank you. Frame size is 83x63 so the painting is a little smaller than that. Certainly larger than the studies from the last show. Not that size matters.

While I havent seen both in the flesh, theres something about the feminine aspects of Chloe's work that I gravitate towards over the masculinity of Conors. I think it just boils down to personal taste, theyre both incredible.
