Over the last week or so we've seen works by Ian Francis, Chloe Early and imminently this one which I think piss all over more or less everything else discussed. Taking a step back, it's even more absurd how much some pieces change hands for.

That's my point, that I don't think that enough recognition is given to the actual ability being exhibited within these works. I agree vera, when you consider how talented Conor is, how much his originals change hands for and how few print releases he does £200 for a large ltd print with a senseable ed size seems very reasonable and makes you question a lot of work by new artists which is pumped out regularly at similar prices. I love the blk background, makes the colour in the foreground really jump out and will look great framed, a lot of past portrait painters used very dark backgrounds to make the subject stand out and be the main focus, works for me with the CH |

Agree that it doesn't quite have the golden finish of WWWK and FC but I plan to rectify that with a thick, gaudy gold frame. Still knocks the socks off almost any other print released this year - see above; balaclavas, rainbows etc.
I am just going to assume (naively) that the finish isn't quite what it was on some of the other releases to make the price more accessible for people who can't splash out a grand a print.
F5 serve me well...
