Or it could be what Banksy thinks about immigrants.
Today free speech is illegal so one has to use art and clever ways round the stupid PC laws.
In some EU countries, (probably all in reality) It is illegal to make racist comments about ethnic minorities but it is not illegal for ethnic minorities to make racist comments about non ethnic minorities.
Hence UKIP and Miliband etc openly slagging off east european but not Africans etc.
The law of racism should apply to all regardless of their ethnicity.
It's a shame if the council removed this artwork.

I'm on my phone so someone else is going to have to insert a shaking-head-in-dispair .gif. Preferably Bunk from The Wire, please.

Free speech only works one way it seems.

Ploppi, I really cannot tell whether you are joking, trying to cause disharmony, or whether you believe what you are saying when you say maybe it's really what Banksy thinks. If it's the later, then I honestly think you are talking complete and utter rubbish. It is clearly a political piece having a dig at such beliefs. If it's a joke or an attempt to cause disharmony, leave it out eh, and let people enjoy a great piece of street art.

Not on another planet and very down to earth as opposed to some who prefer to belive whatver suits them.
Banksy has never shied away from making lots of comments and lots of quotes attributed to him too.
He made this artwork and pigeons are telling swallows to bugger off back to Africa.
It is what it is and fair play to him.
If anything it's a statement on freedom of speech being illegal and the Council that removed it because of political correctness is one reason the UK is up the creek without a paddle.
"Free speech for worms"

I don't know what he thinks. But I can make an educated guess as to whether this was satire or a genuinely racist attack when I take into account the political views expessssd in his other artwork. It's not rocket science. Sigh.

New Banksy Street work - 09/28/14, by Deleted on Oct 1, 2014 17:30:06 GMT 1, I don't for one second believe that Banksy is racist.
I'm against the council removing this art because it is censoring freedom of expression and also the council is saying Banksy is racist (by removing the art on the spurious convenient use of political correctness) and the art is racist which it isn't.
It's just making a point about immigration and public attitude to immigration which is not racism.

Edit: for what it's worth I don't think Banksy likes pigeons much, if you see what I mean.
