Would anyone have an A0 plan chest for sale based in Northern Ireland?

1.  Start by selecting a rough price range you're comfortable with. And, separately, the maximum budget you would go up to if you came across your ideal‑world, perfect plan chest.

A0 plan chests go for anywhere from about £400 to £2,500. But expect to spend over £1,000 for a quality item, especially if buying new rather than used.


2.  Work out what you require in drawer numbers.

Would 3 drawers be enough, or do you need 5, 6, 9, 10 or 12 drawers? Your choice here will have a material impact on pricing.


3.  If presentation and appearances are important to you, decide upon your preferred material of construction and the quality you're looking for.

There are plenty of plan chests in both metal and the more traditional solid wood. Cheaper ones are also available in painted or veneered MDF or plywood.


4.  Then, at the risk of causing offence by stating the obvious, just Google "A0 plan chest UK".

This is likely to be the most efficient method, given that A0 is relatively specialised and not so common as a plan‑chest size.

You can be more precise by including "Northern Ireland" in the search terms. However, that is perhaps unnecessary — and seems less than ideal, since it may dramatically lower the number of search results.

If you end up buying (whether new or used) from a company, the company can arrange a delivery for you, which will sometimes even be free for UK destination addresses.

If buying from a private seller outside of Northern Ireland, they too might be able to deal with the delivery. Alternatively, get some quotes from small removal companies or individuals providing a man-with-a-van service, focusing on those who are local to the seller.

It’s 32 x 35 x 48 inches.
The drawers are smooth and have no bars. They are very well made.
The inside is very clean. Will provide pix if anyone wants them.

only wish I could get this to Seattle inexpensively. for some reason, this type of plan chest appears to be like rocking horse shit here in the USA. If anyone knows of a good source stateside, please let me know.
