It incorporates significant dates, where they met, where they've been and where they've gone. I love the flow of the piece and the fact it's full so much meaning to the two of them. Fits nicely with the other painting they have as well.
At the risk of sounding 'soft' thats a lovely Idea and sentiment and well executed. Whenever I decide to pop the question I may contact you!!

I had my 9 year anniversary yesterday and gave it to my fiancΓ©.
It's the story of how we met at uni when we were 18/19 and how we got engaged and travelled and ultimately emigrated to oz. All the finer details are in the pic and my missus loved spotting all the key points.

These marks weren't for the sake of vandalism or from some kind of misdirected anger. You'll paint over us but we were in this place and we each left a mark. We are here and together.
Painted on 25cm square handcast slabs of concrete, each of these pieces weighs 3.2kg thanks to their 3cm thickness. I've painted on 'concrete canvases' before and I keep learning new things each time. These pieces come with two holes in the reverse for hanging. There's still room for improvement and next time I'll construct the moulds out of wood instead of cardboard.
Each piece is a unique colourway, packaged in a bespoke box complete with a three-part foam system and available for Β£295 from Graffiti Street.

I'm sure someone makes lightweight concrete too for some application.

Their might be something said for making a wood core that's drilled and dimpled to hold the concrete in place.

A commissioned triptych for a couple who met on New Year's Eve, travelled around Asia and now live together with wee jack russell. It was nice to take a change from the red and white palettes of these romantic commissions, the colours are so lush. With that said, red and white is also a great combination.
I also shared a photo of the stencil used to paint the disco ball a week or two ago on Facebook. It really gives you an idea of the scale of it all!
