A commissioned painting that was inspired by an illustration from a book titled 'Undine'. Definitely not a subject matter I'd paint of my own accord but it was nice seeing the scales come out and a new palette to paint 
In other news, we're still fiddling with our screen printing setup in the studio but hoping to release a new series of affordable A3 prints soon.

Commissioned as a birthday present for her oil rig worker husband I thought it'd be touching to show his return to shore. I do love a good reason to paint stars into a piece. And the rig is even based on the specific one he works on off the coast of Scotland.
