'Definitions'










This is the first series of prints we have printed ourselves from start to finish. From buying all the equipment to release, it's been about four months of learning, printing and swearing every night as we pull prints in our down time. If you make a mistake whilst stenciling, it's pretty easy to try again soon after but if something goes wrong with a screen, you have to strip everything off, recoat it and the whole process just takes a lot of time and energy. But now...NOW! Now we're happy with our process, we are a lot quicker and we're proud of our results.

This print series plays around with the idea of dictionary definitions and depending on how well it goes down, I've plenty more words I'd love to give a go in this series! Anyway, all prints are signed and numbered, along with the hand embossed seal of approval, which reads 'a nice bit of paper by pahnl'.

Lovely KH tribute

I recently began screen printing in my own studio, rather than outsourcing it. Whilst it has been a tricky ballache at times, four months after buying all the gear, I finally released a series of prints the other day. Being able to freely play with the process is liberating and I hope to do some interesting stuff in the future.

Anyway, this forum has provided me with some great opportunities and support over the years and I want to give away 30 copies of the 'The Writing's On The Wa' print. Roughly A4 in size on 300gsm Heritage Rag, this cheeky little print has been pulled in our studio, hand finished, signed, numbered and embossed.

When I was younger I did a stencil spray paint of the bottom of my skateboard, with a similar stickman character to yours. It always reminds me of that summer day when I see yours... which is 100% better than what I did in the mid-90s!
