Thats why I would never take the Quinn seriously as he paid people far more talented than himself to make the Kate Moss sculpture.
Koons, Hirst, and other artists  pay real artists and craftspeople to make the pièces and then re sell them under their own name.
It's a brand.
You either have artists that are so bad at art as and paint their own pictures and make their own sculptures and are so bas as to be in the words of some hoi poloi, "good" and promoted as good when they are just bad and have the right name.
and you have the Koons, Hirst of the world that creat an art brand sold to investors as commodities etc.
It doesn't matter today if Banksy did not paint the Monkey Parliament himself.
