Bambi 🇬🇧 Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by Dr Plip on Dec 28, 2014 11:04:56 GMT 1, I'm off my tits on painkillers at the moment and have had no sleep, so this might not be entirely relevant to this discussion, but I think Jeff Goldblum said it best.

Bambi 🇬🇧 Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by Dr Plip on Dec 28, 2014 11:13:18 GMT 1, I don't think anyone on here actually hates Bambi. After all, how can you hate a person that probably doesn't even exist? It would be like hating a fictional Walt Disney character. It just wouldn't make any sense. Anyway, they probably just dislike the constant Heat magazine and Daily Star celebrity gossip column manipulations. Especially when they try to add credence to the artist by constantly mentioning Banksy in the same breath. They could go on to create some fantastic art and I wouldn't ever discourage anyone from making art or expressing themselves. It just feels a little like, at the moment, they have plenty to sell but not much to say.

Bambi 🇬🇧 Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by bob60 on Dec 28, 2014 12:16:53 GMT 1, These are street art and urban art forums. The OP posted in the art wanted section as was correct for what they are looking for. I think that they should be allowed to to this without being attacked by juvenile idiots who think that urban art starts and ends with Banksy. I understand from by neice that One Direction fans also behave in this childish fashion. Oh, and please, spare me the troll comments, that really is a cliché these days. Happy new year to you and do try not to be so negative, it really is extremely unattractive.

Bambi 🇬🇧 Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by ergo1 on Dec 28, 2014 13:19:59 GMT 1, Well, seems pretty obvious that Walton [un]fine carpet arts are flooding this place with fake accounts. I wonder if the same people will turn out to be huge Pegasus fans at some point soon. God i hope it ends soon! I can assure you i am not a fake account. I assume i am the youngest person on this entire forum and i am merely someone whom has invested in some artwork, whose come on here in order to see if i can make any profits better than offers i have already received

Welcome to the forum. I wouldn't assume anything on here. Though not a fan of Bambi - I'll avoid the cheap shot of saying it's a phase you are going through and you'll grow out of it, as each to their own.
Of interest is the fact that you were advised to buy Bambi as an investment. May I ask - by whom were you so advised? Also, it is unlikely that you will achieve top dollar here, but your eyes may be opened to other artists, which would be a good thing.

It was in fact my father who was advised to buy Bambi from a colleague who, from what i have been told, is a big art investor and has made lots of money buying and selling urban art. I believe he is also quite involved w/ bambi and so advised people to buy. I then wanted in and so purchased what i could afford for myself.
And yes, even if this investment does not make me any profits, i believe it will not be the worst thing in the world as it has opened my eyes to the art world. This could lead me on to buying new, different art from other artists.

So she's as good as Banksy was 20 years ago.

Just checking as they are the primary hypers of this artist.
There is another Gallery who I won't name who sells overpriced art and frequently claims they are investment items it's marketing...
Seems the only people buying Bambi are investors....
There is no market for Bambi as it's not real art or street art it's a hype machine riding on Banksys back. Just look at evey thing ever written about her and that defaced flags thing she did...

Bambi 🇬🇧 Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by tartarus on Dec 28, 2014 17:42:11 GMT 1, These are street art and urban art forums. Happy new year to you and do try not to be so negative, it really is extremely unattractive. no one here thinks street art starts and ends with Banksy. But we don't necessarily want to see street art ridiculed by some purely publicity and hype based "ARTIST" that comes along and destroys its credibility.
Banksy has without doubt used hype and publicity to fuel his career, but this Bambi tosh is a sad attempt to use hype to create a career for someone with nothing to give in the way of creative talent.
And to copy the Banksy stunt outright, was just utterly pathetic in my opinion, a very sad scream for attention. Hopefully a last ditch attempt before disappearing back into well deserved obscurity.

My eyes don't tolerate Bambi and not do I tolerate the bullshit and hype that surrounds her...
And yes this is a public forum where we can all have our say don't bother with the bullying card it's boring and untrue, think of it as an education :-)

Bambi 🇬🇧 Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by tartarus on Dec 28, 2014 20:26:14 GMT 1, Because we've never seen bulls**t and hype surrounding anyone in street/urban art before right? To increase and progress a career, yes. As the sole reason for them having a career, not until this pish was contrived.

Bambi 🇬🇧 Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by bob60 on Dec 28, 2014 20:38:20 GMT 1, These are open forums were fellow members should be allowed to post without risk of being attacked and ridiculed just because you or someone else has decided that they do not like certain artists. It is bullying behaviour that should not be tolerated by any of us. My eyes don't tolerate Bambi and not do I tolerate the bulls**t and hype that surrounds her... And yes this is a public forum where we can all have our say don't bother with the bullying card it's boring and untrue, think of it as an education :-) This, from someone who accuses fellow members of being trolls if they do not like what's been said. Nobody cares what you do or do not tolerate, just keep your bullying aggressive behaviour out of these forums please. It wouldn't be so bad if at least you could see the irony of not liking the bulls**t and hype that surrounds an artist, and yet blindly following Banksy, who has built his career on it.
