just coming from someone who knows more behind the scenes, at the end of last year a few outlets were given a chance to pickup an allocation of Tenners. Most were sold privately. Guessing Andipa is releasing their remaining allocation publicly.
We were also given another small allotment from someone who ended up not taking it.
What collectors enjoy about this release is that while there are 100,000 Tenners out there, the market is flooded with fake ones. Despite anyone's thoughts on Steve, the ones you're seeing from these places are real ones. If thats something you were looking to buy, go for it.
And what other crazy amount of galleries have had these? The only ones that I've seen publicly sell them were us, a gallery in Florida that sold 50 and Andipa? The market is currently around $1900-$2k for the ones we sold and some auction houses are getting $2500-$4k. Not sure what was wrong about it? The fact that we received real ones and had the second best person authenticate them who was repping him when he did this? We went through this before when you thought it was wrong the first time and exactly what we thought would happen happened. Basically created a mini market for them which was pretty cool

And not sure what we collect has to do with this. The real tenner you and other people have are still real tenners. And those tenners have always had their own thing going for them. However, seeing it somewhere like Ebay, it just looks like every other Tenner and I don't think ppl trust it.

Thats a code of conduct you created for yourself though. The negative way you've been since the first sale and other posts on here, I can imagine we both don't share the same viewpoints in life.
For us, we were given this awesome and fun opportunity to bring something different to the people we cater to, work with a group of people we never have dealt with and sell to a group of ppl that have never even heard of us or knew what we were about. You usually hear horror stories in these types of situations but we stuck to the gameplan and executed it in the timeframe we said we would. Now people who were afraid to buy a Tenner on ebay had a chance not to get actually "swindled" by someone.

I really cannot understand people having a go at bottleneck. It was a good product, professionally shipped and with a verifiable provenance at the right price in my opinion.
Have a go at Laz, but not the galleries.
Bottleneck gave people like me the chance to buy a genuine tenner in a transparent and honest manner, with the added security of framing and some sort of authentication by laz.
Having said that, this issue seems overpriced and open to fraud as the tenner is not framed so can be swapped easily.not as much care has gone into this one compared to bottleneck.

If a fraudster swapped out the genuine tenner for a cheap fake, sold their fake along with the provenance, they would be left with a genuine tenner, but one which is of little more value than the cheap fake as the provenance is now gone.
I expect this is of little use to the fraudster as they generally would be looking for cash not a personal collection.
