Conceptual art in modern politics?, by Artie Reyt on Jan 4, 2015 18:33:37 GMT 1, Curtis is always worth a listen - his immediate post 9/11 work on the myth of al-Quaeda was important. I watched his piece on Brooker with interest, and he is on to something in the way that parties now refute political attacks. It does seem that instead of offering a relevant response to an attack, a party will simply refute the allegation with a response designed to confuse the voter, not to win the argument. And it has got worse in the last few years. But whether or not this points to a conspiracy played on the voter by the political class across the democratic world, as Curtis implies, I'm not sure.

Conceptual art in modern politics?, by Deleted on Jan 5, 2015 14:36:22 GMT 1, All politicians are liars and cover up for each other.
Voters have no choice in reality as politics is a club.
Free speech is being outlawed and globalisation is for the benfit of some.
The stuff being revealed today is just the tip of the iceberg.
