Not sure it was an AP, it was labelled as a 'gift piece'.
In the bottom right corner it was etched '4 MAT (CND SIGN) BANKSY'.
Although on formica it was actually silver, and unless you were told it looked like it was printed on steel.

Per the catalogue:
incised '4 Mat, Banksy AP' screenprint on silver formica (by the way, what's formica?!), artist's proof.
Both the silver and the gold fomica's were produced in editions of 25, with a 'very small number of artist's proofs presented to friends of the artist, including the above lot'. So quite rare then...

1. Dface Lenticular - it finally got it the credence it deserves, ยฃ4800 plus commissions and tax - I always believed this was a very under estimated piece.
2. Nick Walker - Moona Lisa @ ยฃ45K - welcome to the big league Nick
3. Blek Le Rat - very talented artist and his prices imo and value will increase
4. Banksy - for being the talent that he is, and for capturing the audiences imagination. When his Laugh Now sold at ยฃ190K, the atmosphere in the auction was electric.
Bonhams also should get some brownie points for putting on a good auction, and for spotting and removing the fake Radar Rat

There were only two bidders on that once it went past 120k odd... one was the woman that won it... and the other was................. Ian Brown from the Stone Roses! I think he was genuinely disappointed he missed out on it, though he was waving his number card about like he was playing with monopoly money. I really wanted him to win it just so the papers could add his name to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who they feel compelled to mention in every Banksy article.
