Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by Dice on Apr 19, 2013 12:06:26 GMT 1, Β£4300 for the Adam neate sculpture was a great buy for someone. It was quite large and a true one-off. I wish I had the funds.
His turquoise paintings consistently fail to sell at auction though.

All his paintings consistently fail at auction. No measure on his talent. But it is what it is.

Wow really. What was the original price (ballpark)?
I don't think any really strong paintings have ever come up for sale, the classic red portraits for example so it's hard to judge.

I think it should have been 100 but was 96 for some reason. The aquarium always seemed to cut editions short. I was offerd one not long ago from a gallery got Β£3k and I thought that was cheap I would be intrested to see what this go for.

Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by silvermyn on Nov 7, 2013 23:14:21 GMT 1, The Pulp Fiction is the lowest numbered one I've seen up for sale (3/150).
The rumour on here used to be that the really low numbers went to POW staff. Does anyone know if that was/is actually the case?
