Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by johnnyh on Nov 20, 2013 6:43:58 GMT 1, Reading those reports would say as Dr Jimmy says would not worry me at all they all sound completely minor for pieces of that age and probable history. The exception being Pulp which does seem to have some viewable damage. Decent buys if you ask me at pretty fair prices signed Nola for 10k not seen one on here at that price price for awhile.

Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by Winter on Nov 20, 2013 10:22:45 GMT 1, I think paying 10k for a Nola that needed to be restored is pretty brave. I'm sure Bignell could work his magic but there are times he can't make things perfect.

For that particular print, at that particular auction, yes. Christie's also sold a grey NBG for Β£8,750 (incl. premium) on 19 September 2013, the same price that was achieved for this one. I would say that these sales results are a fair indication of current pricing. Appreciate that this is not great news if you're looking to buy one :/

hehe. Yes, still regretting not picking up a green one I was offered a while back. But money went to something else I'm happy with so can't really complain.

Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by andyroo0312 on Nov 22, 2013 5:07:21 GMT 1, Once you add the 20% i would not call Β£12k for a Nola cheap and that must be a record for NBG? Bonhams urban art auctions seem to be the haunt of the rich and shameless or trust fund baby crowd.

Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by Bumkinonaboat on Nov 22, 2013 11:01:10 GMT 1, S&S vs VLH, is one really worth 25% more than the other? I'd of thought with the latter being an Ed of 299 the result had a good chance of being the other way round.

I think because VLH is really limited to the UK audience generally, due to the Tesco,s bag flag and the take on there motto of "Every Little Helps" , now if it said Wal Mart it would of appealed to a larger audience, well thats my theory.

Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by kelly on Dec 5, 2013 21:09:34 GMT 1, I just had estimates for my pulp fiction and flying copper at Bonhams. PF 4-6k FC 3-5k both are framed, signed and in mint condition with COA. think I'll hedge my bets on a private sale.

Estimates are sometimes low to draw in potential buyers, it's just how it works :/
