Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by Unica on Dec 6, 2017 19:56:23 GMT 1, Cheers sharky, may be worth a look if the estimates are any thing to go buy. How much more than the hammer price do you pay 20-25%? 25% Buyers Premium Shipping Applicable Taxes/VAT That already puts the unsigned GWB at $50k and the Signed GWB at over $100k with 7 days left before the auction.

Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by Lunch Special on Dec 6, 2017 20:04:51 GMT 1, Low estimates? thats just a mind game. Its intended to attract buyers into thinking the actual value they know the art to be isnt true, and the buyers start convincing themselves they might get a deal.
Takes me to that old saying

Why is the forum auction going the other way with high estimates?
Just a question, not being pedantic.

Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by Pattycakes on Dec 18, 2017 20:30:52 GMT 1, Yup relatively poor results all in all. Feel sorry for the vendors, duped by low estimates with the promise of it'll do well if they are entered at give away prices.
I was tempted by one of the electric chairs but having bought something last week I had to think sensibly for once.
And who in their right mind holds an auction the week before Christmas that's just mad!
