Hi guys,

not that easy to let these pieces go but what can I say, Christmas is right ahead and to be honest the last months have been quite brutal to me when it came to additional/unplanned costs for getting things repaired and so on.

Furthermore I will become uncle for the first time - somewhere around early April. In short: Nothing could be of more importance than getting my beloved family supported. My sister and her husband are still in need of a lot of things and I would like to surprise them on Christmas.

Don't have to tell you - kids can be expensive. Therefore looking forward to some good and fair offers.

As for the pieces:
 
- Once purchased the Cope2 at the online shop of a gallery in Detroit (Inner State). The show it was in was called Versatile and the piece is called "Natural Creation" - 18 x 24 x 1.5 Inches (60,5 x 45,5 x 5cm), Aersol On Cradled Wood Panel --> it is ready to hang.

- The Michal Mráz piece was purchased directly from the artist. Title: "Silent Watcher", media: Acrylic And Spray Paint On Wood (former door panel), size: 61,5 x 41 x 3cm. Right now Michal is making big moves! His work is shown on Art Basel Miami by Robert Fontaine Gallery and there are several international shows more.

Hope these beauties will go into good hands - would mean a lot to me. Really hard to let them go...

Contacted him before on Instagram as I wanted to buy a piece; I have to agree he came across that way!

Put it this way, I didn't end up buying.

I have a few works by Cope2 and like his style (not so much his personality) and the black one here looks nice indeed, but I will pass. Pricing seems right but I'm honestly done with GP...

He is a massive tool and I wouldn’t want one if I was given one.

I always read it as Coee too - the "P" looks like an "e"

If you do a search for "cope2" + "homophobic" on here, you'll get a few discussions and references to past cope2 behaviour etc.

Edit: Or did you mean like his biography or childhood stuff?

He was accused to be a snitch by several artists. There war a whole sort of wikileaks thing going on a few years ago with document which allegedly proved that he was an informant who worked for years for NYPD Vandal Squad. 

To be fair I own a few of his subway maps. Met him once during an exhibition in Switzerland and he was a very friendly.. but I heard many times that he can be a real douchebag.

Seems like a terribly reasonable fellow, I can't believe people would conduct business like that.
