I wouldn't say Bambi is a fake artist. I would say she's a bad artist with no real creativity, talent or original thought.

The hype around her, however, I would say is fake. Unsubstantiated reports of celebrities spending large sums of money on her art feel manufactured.

She demonstrated the actual market for her work when she knocked off Banksy's spray art stunt. For anyone who missed it, she did the same thing except she promoted it ahead of time and basically sold her art at market value on the street. Which is roughly the same as you'd pay for a couple pints and an order of fish and chips.

If as an artist you sell art for very large sums of money without any history of genuine secondary market sales to dictate true market value and on top of that your work receives no credit from anyone on the art scene except the few greedy bastard moral less dealers who sell her work onto naive people in deceitful and manipulative ways with the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow stradegy, alongside a talent level of a high school art student you will and should imo be giving a good public spit roasting without the pleasure...its a farce and shameful
