Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by Unica on Jun 22, 2016 21:03:13 GMT 1, Hi! What's the value of a signed Banksy - Tomato Soup (2005)?
IMO given the auction results of last week, I would think between £11-12k.

For a signed? Wasn't it only like 50 signed?

Yes 50 signed in the original colour. I just realized I don't believe the auction results of £12k included the buyers premium, so if one adds 25% we are at around £16k. The two at auction were the coloured version.

Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by Poster Bob on Jun 22, 2016 22:40:29 GMT 1, The ones last week were editions of 10 and far better than the original. I'd say an original Soup Can is worth £8-10k, no one is going to bite your hand off for it and they're not in any way sought after.

A good friend has a "Laugh Now" signed print (circa 2002-3) and a 1m x 1m "Family Target" canvas (circa 2003).
Just curious to know what the forum thinks it should be priced at. We've inquired with a few galleries but the numbers they are quoting me are absolutely ridiculously high.
Look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Cheers.

Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by quixote on Jun 25, 2016 1:53:55 GMT 1, Price Check for a signed Grey Nola? I know the Bonhams one went for £26k minus premiums before the £ dropped off. Would a price of $40,000 be fair for private sale?

Would a price of $40,000 be fair for private sale? I think that would be a fair assessment. Wait a few more weeks and you may find your $ buys even more £. Again I just want to say thanks to all that voted leave, as it has helped me benifit considerably. One mans failure is another's success.

Normally i would laugh at this sort of comment but i cant. Im glad your happy with whatever benefits youve gained at the expense of the 16million who voted to stay and the millions of under 18 year olds who cldnt vote but will be the ones faced with whatever the consequences of the leave vote may be for longest time.

While the past week was a hit, the steady trend of decline over the last two years has provided much more damage ($ benefit) to the currency. Hard to ignore that the savings now vs just a few years go is massive when buying with $ now.

I wasn't bothered by exchange rates, they ebb and flow; I was more perturbed that someone living on the other side of the world would gloat and take pleasure at something opposed by 16M+ people many of whom will experience the impact of the decision more than most for the rest of their days but could do f@ck all to influence it.
Anyhow, back to the p!ssing up a wall contest that is Banksy price checking, pre or post EU vote.

My initial point was directed to Australia and not America but i suggest a visit to your local opticians if this looks good even from across the Atlantic.

Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by tonysantos2001 on Jul 3, 2016 19:34:18 GMT 1, Lots to go through here but looking at a price for Banksy, Choose Your Weapon Grey, I did offer it for sale 18 months/2 years ago but had no realistic offers (all below 7 grand) Anyways, I'm seriously thinking about selling now but want to know what I can expect to get, or, if sold on Ebay what to set the reserve at.
I have all the paperwork and have owned this print from new and are registered as the owner with P.O.W.
Thanks!
