Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by Karl Read on Jul 5, 2016 19:28:59 GMT 1, Lots to go through here but looking at a price for Banksy, Choose Your Weapon Grey, I did offer it for sale 18 months/2 years ago but had no realistic offers (all below 7 grand) Anyways, I'm seriously thinking about selling now but want to know what I can expect to get, or, if sold on Ebay what to set the reserve at. I have all the paperwork and have owned this print from new and are registered as the owner with P.O.W. Thanks!

Just a rough guess, about 200,000 could have been done, they were not expensive (£8?) and myself, like most that went got 1 (or 2) the folder is nice, but not sure they are worth too much as there a lot about in peoples goody bags. It's worth what someone is willing to pay i guess.. £20? pure spec on my part for what it's worth. |

I dont know of any confirmed Girl With Balloon print sales including gold north of 95k aside from one which i can only put down to too much money and too little knowledge. I dont know of any confirmed sales of red ed150 Girl With Balloon above 72500k(ive seen higher asking prices), not saying it hasnt just id take a lot of price indications on the board with a pinch of salt. A gold sold a few months ago for 86500 and one recently for 90000.

Both offers were refused..... Because he was politely informed that a GWB is worth £100k + how much the client is willing to pay to own such a piece!
Always look at a persons motives for under-pricing, especially if they happen to be a dealer themselves.

I can only assume youre referencing my post, as posterbob pointed out opus recently had a signed Girl With Balloon for 75k which sat for a good while before selling, i dont know if it sold for asking price eventually youd have to ask them, a gallery saying its now worth 100k+ would suggest this didnt sell because it was so cheap it made buyers wary. It was openly for sale to a volume of buyers, the isolated situation youre talking about is a gallery stumbling on a wealthy buyer who will pay whatever to get one, that doesnt indicate true market value any more than a single high auction were a couple get carried away, what was the name of the gallery, im sure they wont mind you saying as they are happy to advise the print is worth more than 100k. My motives seeing as you address it are long term sustainability rather than get as much as you can as quick as you can.
