Prints held down by phones, shoe boxes and got knows what else - these were not picked up by art collectors or fans of Stik just plain and simple profit hunters - god knows how these prints will be packed by those fools when someone drops 3k for one - scary stuff!!
The shoeboxes on the bed is just weird. I guess people are short of floor space these days? Could just live in London? Could have dogs? Could have kids? *shudder*

Having a love hate relationship with this print. Heck I wouldn't sell it for that, but having just missed out in the line finding it hard to pay more. Screw it ยฃ1900 the girlfriend will have to forfeit the nice resturant plans.

If you are prepared to pay an inflated price you should just wait to see what eBay offers up. I have seen it all happen on here and that is the best way to operate within this community. And if you track Stik's market then you would see that rarely does a print rocket after the initial hype, Liberty peaked at about ยฃ750 and then languished around ยฃ450 - ยฃ500 mark for quite a while, and this will no doubt go the same way.... establishing a flippers market before the event is not the way to go (IMO) - especially here

If you put in in perspective, it was only a few years back that you could get a signed banksy for this sort of dosh. There is a bigger audience now i guess/more competition to get things.

I can't think of any offered up recently. Looking at his profile on EB he's only done 6 officially released prints since 2009 and 2 of those were in far off lands for any UK based collectors.
Very clever moves by Stik/Squarity and i get why they keep the editions so small & limited now.
When you look at how many Banksy's are out there and compare this to how many Stik's there are (im not comparing the artists here to each other btw) Stik comes off more exclusive to me in that respect.
Anyway he's very much like marmite, some love, some don't. Thats art for you. I myself love marmite
