When you start getting near ยฃ3k for a release like Baby, you start thinking a few quid more and you've a decent unsigned Banksy. Now those Liberty's have hung around at ยฃ1,500 for a while, is Baby that much better? |

Fair point but I think Stik will have longevity and the success of the book demonstrates it. Not many artists are backed by one of the biggest names in publishing. Plus, Stik's relentless charitable work sets him apart from most others in the urban art scene and his back story is part of why people want to support him.

I for one hope this print comes back down to earth so I can get one. |

Most reasonable, balanced and realistic point of view in this whole thread.
Stik is a great artist, and this is a great print, which will remain reasonably pricey in the foreseeable future, but the euphoria surrounding it will die down when the next big print hits.
Gartner has a great illustration of how new technologies move along a hype vs. creates actually value curve. Applies 100% to these prints.
