Spoke to Barry about it on Sunday, he was happy enough and said it wasn't his 'coz there's no way I can get that loose'.
At the end of the day I'm still happy with it. It's about 5ft on canvas, at the end of the day there's someone out there who deserves the credit.
The best McGee fake you've never seen.

Barry McGee ๐บ๐ธ Mission School Art Movement, by tmccarthy41 on May 3, 2008 15:47:46 GMT 1, Had the pleasure of attending last nights Carnegie International opening for "Life on Mars". It was absolutely mind blowing, over 30 artists, beautiful exhibits, and what appeared to be around 1000 people.
The highlight of the show for me, and our esteemed forum member "maadbeats" was the Barry McGee exhibit, and meeting the man himself. He had one of the largest spreads, with an installation that covered every square inch of what looked to be a 1000' long wall. Have to say that Barry is one of the shyest men I've ever met!
I personally do not have any pics to share, as my misses handed me the camera with the battery missing (not a surprise if you knew her), but Maadbeats took a large quantity that I'm sure he will be posting soon today....
*edit- also wanted to add how exciting it was to have some "street art" finally being shown in our humble city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (GO PENS)
