I was amazed to hear from one of the very kind and helpful members of staff at the gallery and the abuse she had been receiving from people who missed out on the print. Let's be honest it didn't run smoothly however most high demand print releases often don't! Shameful to hear people phoning in calling the young lady calling her a c***

the only thing that seemed odd was the shipping cost but seems fine after finding out they are shipping flat (should have maybe noted that during checkout).

Not sure why they need to let everyone know where and when they are for sale. I was lucky this time but unlucky in previous releases. Its just a print and there will be another one next year.

As for their "new super duper" website, their IT peeps need the sack Stolen Space released details for the "End to Those Dogs" print and it crashed their site - plus D*Face said they shouldn't have given people details of the drop time. They were probably trying to get things working better this time. |

Either it was an oversight on SS's part to clarify exactly what day/time the prints would drop, or it was intentional, to avoid having people crash the site like the previous release. They probably did not anticipate that folks would constantly re-check/refresh the site the day of the show. In my opinion, I think a random drop leads to a smoother experience for more people. The last drop was a shitshow compared to this one.

Especially the 2 x editions of 35 and sudden speculation they were tarts - with speculation like that the traffic probably quadrupled
Next time they should show us the images and give people a chance to work out if they want it......then all those that were interested only if it was a tart wouldn't have got in the way (IMO)

Feel like I'm being a little bit OCD (it is a tiny crease), or is it reasonable to be a little annoyed? I've been in contact and they suggest i get it trimmed as it does have a fat border. Its the gun that no one (but me) liked, so not expecting value to rise (i don't think its even sold out) but I wanted it framed with whole print on show. It wasn't a cheap print so I'm a little reluctant to just take it on the chin tbh? Am i being a bit of a tit?

The print is secured well away from the edges of the hardboard though...either a bit of movement in package or unfortunately went unnoticed before packaged. No damage to outer package...

Can't see pic but I wouldn't accept. See my previous post. Can't accept mine as gonna be float mounted. They're usually great at returns/resolving problems...last print from them was damaged too!

I've ordered a Neck Embrace DFace and if mine comes creased, i'll be demanding a new print or a refund. Not sure why you should take it on the chin, it obviously bothered you enough to post. And trimming it is out of the question, if a day comes that you ever need to sell, its going to be a problem. |

That's bullshit. This was an expensive print and you shouldn't expect less than mint. They should have extras available to cover damaged prints, which clearly they're notorious for. Sure, you could trim it, but you shouldn't have to.
