Yeah, I'm scouring the carboot sales for one. Apparently no UK quad version of the War of the Worlds is known to have survived. I'm still checking the carboots though. |

The rarest poster is the "Birthday Style", that is a limited edition poster given to theaters in US who were still showing Star Wars after a year

I just cannot help thinking that someone who had bothered to collect the three posters would not know the value and certainly would have avoided getting them laminated.
Laminated prints of the original posters have been available for years and I think this is what you may have, obviously I am not 100% having not seen them but this would be my guess.
I hope I am wrong and you do indeed have three originals.....which would be nice

I didn't collect theseborrhoeic laminate these.I was lucky to stumble across them at a car boot sale. It sounds viable what you are saying.and I also hope u are wrong and they are originals. Thanks for your advice.

It seems the signature was done when poster made.it is not on top ov poster if that makes sense.seems to be in same ink as what the poster is. ( ie artwork colours same).it appears to be double laminated.first layer very thin film (like clingfilm) underlay a bit stiffer but very old type off laminating in my eyes.struggling to load pics and also struggling search sites suggested as not that computer savvy. Thanks for everyone's patience and help. Very much appreciated

I know an original poster for Fritz Langs, Metropolis is worth a million dollars today.
Original star wars posters have to be a potential investment.
Movie and sport etc memorabilia is the fastest growing collectables market in the USA apparently.
