Offers on a Sale - If you don’t know a Price don’t Sell , by Steph Rat Catcher on Mar 1, 2016 23:29:27 GMT 1, Offers on a Sale - If you don’t know a Price don’t Sell
Everything getting out of hand. 1 post wonders turn up selling sort after Banksys, waiting for COA to arrive. Over the top prices or not any price at all, just show me the money and whoever shows the most wins, getting told if I go up another £500 it will be mine – what the fuck is that. I’m not in a competition, if it’s for sale then know your price and make a sale.
All getting on top. Bit like the rave scene in the early 90’s everyone loving each other and peace and then Bang! all the gangs moving in controlling the door, the drugs and robbing you blind.
If you have the printing gear then its easy to fake a banksy, even easier to fake a coa. Suddenly prices sky-rocketing and newbies turning up wanting offers as they don’t know the market, but know enough to come here instead of ebay
What happened to make prices rocket, people getting greedy or gangs trying to manipulate market? Something not right.

Offers on a Sale - If you don’t know a Price don’t Sell , by pippyt75 on Mar 1, 2016 23:53:12 GMT 1, Agree. If it's a best offer blind auction then it's no different to eBay. Except at least you get photos on there!

Offers on a Sale - If you don’t know a Price don’t Sell , by iamzero on Mar 2, 2016 8:03:08 GMT 1, So if I want to sell something that doesn't come up often making it difficult to estimate market value what the rules in that case? For instance I'm possibly gonna offer up my Eelus Cheecky Cherub and Mau Mau Mermaid (the lying down one) but haven't a clue on prices. I guess just start up a price check thread first?

Offers on a Sale - If you don’t know a Price don’t Sell , by Art Fan 2011 on Mar 2, 2016 11:49:02 GMT 1, Everyone must know a price they are happy with, so put that as your asking price - the alleged market rate is irrelevant, its what your happy to accept that is important. If it sells quick then you priced to cheap, if it does`nt sell then lower the price - by asking for offers people are just fishing around and getting buyers into a Dutch auction situation. Just name your price peoples

not everyone that joins reads silkys threads.

Offers on a Sale - If you don’t know a Price don’t Sell , by Daniel Silk on Aug 18, 2016 17:04:08 GMT 1, At the end of the day a seller has every right to try and sell their property for the highest price they can possibly get, and it's the right of the buyer to pay that price, make an offer or walk away.

Offers on a Sale - If you don’t know a Price don’t Sell , by Daniel Silk on Aug 18, 2016 17:11:14 GMT 1, Many of the buyers now are actually galleries so they try to drive down the prices, and want the process to favour them getting the lowest price possible so they can sell it on for a decent profit.
