Unlike Dali's 3D art where he painted two images from different perspectives which one could see superimposed on each other via 3D glasses.

Took this pic at AR of both framed versions. I had the opportunity to buy one but although they looked nice, I think I would rather a screen print all day over this.
I have a vid showing them both together, but unfortunately don't know how to upload it here.

I got this one and the other variant for ยฃ20 
It might be a bit smaller, but at 1% of the price of an edition it's good enough for me.
I think the grooves are quite minimal and personally prefer the normal edition to the variant, but not a major difference when seeing them together.

VariView coined the name "lenticular" to describe their liner images, "Winkies" to describe their popular blinking eyes, and "Magic-Motion" to describe any lenticular image containing motion. Quite the craze in the 40's and 50's, from campaign buttons to prizes in Cracker Jack.
While I tend to agree with Coach as to the twee aspect the original seems cherished and valuable. It seems like the "umbrella" is another trope, that was my thought when this release was first available.
Yes, Renoir did it early, as did Magritte...and the father of much of this Banksy turned it inside out. The Beatles made it amusing in the Eleanor Rigby scene from Yellow Submarine. An umbrella put Rhianna on the map.
Allowing for Eelus to utilize said trope, one would hope any aspiring urban artist would put the umbrella away. Just a thought for conversation.

Gives a better idea of how they'll look on a wall, as you go by them as opposed to the vids AR released where they rotated the pieces in front of the camera, which will never happen in situ unless you have rotating walls! Definitly less radical of an effect which probably is a good thing. For me, it was interesting for Eelus to bring depth to the image, not necessarily to make an animated image out of it! Cheers.
