The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by chads007 on Jun 24, 2016 7:04:15 GMT 1, Corbyn will have to go, so poor and late off the mark, always been anti EU anyway I'm sure Boris is thinking what the fuck have I done, pro EU in reality, putting his petty rivalry and career first I can't see how there will not be further renegotiation and reform with other countries potentially following

With the pound fall, i might pull some triggers and score some art to forget my sadness.

This could be the worst thing! Another year focusing on a tiny part of the country. Most of us fed up hearing about Scotland

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by iamzero on Jun 24, 2016 7:51:10 GMT 1, gutted. Would love to see why people voted exit when every genuine study said we would be better off in, the majority of business, the unions, the world leaders.... I guess we've made our bed and now we have to sleep in it. Problem with votes..lots of stupid people vote or in this case, short sighted and mis-informed. Sad day And perhaps therein lies the reason for the result? Instead of trying include and unite the leave voters to bring them aboard, a strategy of name calling was employed. By calling 17 million people stupid a huge division happened. Is this a division between the working class and the long sighted highly informed educated people in our society. These stupid people we rely on to lay bricks, empty our bins and wipe the arses of the elderly. I still think Noel Gallagher was right in saying we are all too thick to have been given the choice.

In fairness pre EU the £ was almost 4 times the dollar. Now it's 1.5. I remember 2:1 vs dollar being normal. Don't make much difference in life really

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by 10th Mountain on Jun 24, 2016 8:17:33 GMT 1, I really feel that if the politicians has answered questions honestly, then their warnings would have been heeded. Once you head into a mass of lies then the truth is ignored. I really feel that people are fed up with corruption, and the clear chasm betwen the government and the people who have to live in the world they create. This was not the right time to vote against the way we are governed and the risk should have been identified. The turn out was massive compared to general election, showing that a clear choice and brings out peoples feelings. Right or Wrong we have to deal with it now. How to split a country. If this was the 1600s' we would have been issued Pikes

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by Cornish Crayon on Jun 24, 2016 8:19:48 GMT 1, Are people's comments and worried statements based on what the media and political bodies have been feeding us, if so you have to question why oh why is the vote out............
I suggest we all stop the sniping and biting personally and deal with it like the strong nation we have been for so so long now, we will recover and it will take time, that much we know, Switzerland have proved that and they still have a great relationship with Europe still trade without issues.........
The ftse has dropped the pound has dropped, this will create a surge in investment, that is a good thing surely.
Holland will be next...........

This this this. CC has it nailed. The people have voted... Instead of all the clever people moaning they should be getting on with how to deal with it. When life kicks you in the beans, get back up and smile and keep moving forward.

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by searchandrescue on Jun 24, 2016 8:42:44 GMT 1, what a scam.. how is there this much of a disconnect between all the polls the media shows and the bookies? polls yesterday were a coin flip and the bookies were offering 3 to 1 if you took brexit, today its 8 to 1. how do they know better than any poll conducted and with quite the conviction? exactly, the odds on brexit were shit, I was happy to lose a fiver to my nephew rather than give it to them. If it had been 8-1 I'd have jumped on it.
