Urban Visionaries - Are Urban Artists Selling Out?, by daveart on Mar 28, 2016 20:28:49 GMT 1, Ha .. yah... that's me .. wondered if anyone would ever find those. well, hopefully doesnt sound to over simplified. I did those videos to support the art show we do here in Des Moines, Iowa. I'll be putting on another show this summer in Des Moines- free to public - free beer on opening night (thought that might get your attention) etc. All part of an Art Week here in town that focuses on local art venues and artists.. i have been promoting this for a few years in town and has been a fun process.
This year the show will feature some great Haring work, Shepard Fairey, some Banksy Pieces, FAILE, Chevrier Originals, maybe some other items thrown in. Show will run from June Wed June 22nd - Sunday evening.. all in small public downtown art gallery..
The whole event i have been pushing for our town is :

which leads to the big event
www.desmoinesartsfestival.org/ -- this is recognized as one of the best public art festivals in the world.. check it out.. hosted around one of the best free sculpture gardens in the world.. its really mind blowing ..
