I hope OP gets his money back and for everyone else, it should hit home that you should never pay via bank transfer to anyone other than established galleries or long standing members with good reputations in the community.

There certainly is, and it should be done. reign, you should contact a lawyer in the US, actually in whatever state he lives in. Pm if you need help figuring it out.

We don't have those here in the us. he needs to file a criminal complaint but as he is not in the us, he will need an attorney or someone with a notarized (at the us consulate) Power of Attorney to file for him.
