What annoys me, as it has Verbalkint, is when you get sniped by those who don't voice their disagreement through the forum or via PM. I'd happily accept neg's if they were backed up by someone telling me why they felt compelled to dis me. No worries.
However, there are more important things to get concerned over. Such as where can I buy something by Cherri Wood? There's a bit of the Candice Tripp about her, and I want.

Very well put, and you are right, its not that big of a deal in the big scheme of things, still annoying though!

like paying Β£400 for a poster... or Β£100 for an unlimited soup can print, or Β£2.5k for a judgement day...
these are all unrealistic prices... my only point is that there much more stuff around that has good value and remains undervalued....
remember... most of the original bansky fans have turned to become speculators... and this print market and forum has become a speculator zone... and has lost the original concept of fanzone.
as you might know my reaper is gone but its always good to keep in touch to see how this market keeps evolving and growing at an extremely rapid pace.

who the fuck are you to say that someone elses purchase is 'irrational exurbance'. Am i irrational for buying something i like? And who are you to say what is over valued and under valued? You are totally missing the point
You just sound like someone who is thinking 'if i had that money i would buy blah blah' but instead of just saying 'this is not to my taste' you are saying that the prices are unrealistic, how do you know what is realistic? you know what is realistic or reasonable to you, not to anyone else.
And before you accuse someone of shill bidding, i seem to remember that you listed your grin reaper as a private auction with (i think) a Β£6500 start, there was a bid on it straight away, someone on here said it looked shady and you posted some bollocks about you might cancel their bid as they asked you to drop it off to them in canada or something stupid. YOu admitted at the time you had been caught out and took the listing down. YOu are as shady a person as anyone and you have fuck all right to question anyone elses auctions, you lost that right when you tried to rip people off yourself.
and what are these reasonable gems that you are thinking of? or do you not have any in mind and wanted to make a point without backing it up. I would like you to tell me what is under valued. Lets see if everyone agrees so we can find THE definative bargain. It will never happen, because of taste.
Also, to accuse everone on these boards of being speculators, or basically baggers is a huge insult. everyone on here loves art and everyone on here is a fan

Beejoir π¬π§ LV Child β’ Imodium β’ Colour of Money, by jonpud on Jul 16, 2007 15:13:12 GMT 1, I've come into the argument late and dont know why people are docking you. But i've read two posts that were asking people to front you at the next show. It came across as fairly aggressive. If people knocking your respect points pisses you off that much, such talk is only going to exacerbate the situation. f**k em!! seriously that post is not directed at anyone on this thread, the regulars who contribute, i get on with most, if not all of them. what i am saying is that IF someone has a problem with me, then be a man and tell me to my face. I have only ever stated my opinion on here, if it upsets someone enough to neg me respect points then come and tell me why i piss you off so much, thats all i am saying. Seriously though, the kind of people who sit there negging people, well, lets just say i wont be avoiding them at the show, i will be wearing a f**king name tag
Just spent last 20 mins or so reading through this thread, wish I had been about when it was live. Well not gonna go into a massive opinion but I am with verbal with most of what he says, I am totally with him when he critizises those who dock points just for having a different opinion to him! He has said nothing that he doesn't feel is true and he hasn't personally attacked anyone yet (physically we have yet to see!) The whole point of this site is for people with similar interests to offer opinion and join in debate so why kick people for it? +1 from me verbal
And a note on the possible shill bidding on SBFO Bollox! I have placed a few bids on that print already, I don't know the guy selling, I have nothing to gain from it, I like others am just one who missed out on the print release and would like to own one of a very limited run of pieces of art. I have just bought a signed LVC for a large sum which I am not going to publicise after the JD incident. There was no shill bidding on that, it was a straight forward offer of sale and acceptance of the asking price. It will be framed and on my wall next week, I have nothing to gain by advertising the price I paid as I do not intend to sell, had it been an Ebay deal then it would probably have set the current benchmark for this piece.
IMO Beejoir has made some increadibly powerful comments without using a single word, he is an active member of the forum but unlike most of us he has an artistic talent which is far and above the abilites of a lot of the other bandwagon wannabe's! Otherwise we would all be producing masterpieces!
Verbal - I will be the fat git wearing the Jamie Reid 'Nowhere Busses' top if you want back up!! (Guess I'll have to do the ironing now!

if you get the chance to get one for Β£ 3k wouldnt you immiedatly buy it if you had the money???

If you are a numbers guy stick to the numbers that would actually give you an idea of trends - the actual selling prices.

I got a SBFO original and it didnt cost Β£3k. I have 2 beejoir originals, total cost was Β£6000. There was one on campbarbera which actually sold for Β£2500 2 weeks ago and there was one on ebay 2 weeks age which sold for Β£5000 with a copy of dirty delux from a seller in japan (the best bargain of the year in my opinion, i didnt trust the seller enough to risk buying it though) but i messaged him and he said i could have had the canvas for Β£2200.
But you are right, this is an ever changing market, not only have beejoirs prices shot up, but micallefs have too, making that Β£5000 look like an unbelievable deal. And im really sorry if you think im having a go at you, but what you did with your banksy auction was just bang out of order, you shill bidded on it, plain and simple then you come on here slagging that seller for having a private auction when you did EXACTLY the same thing. its like Ian brady calling Ian huntly a sick bastard in my opinion, you lost all right to comment on other people auctions when you tried to fuck people over yourself.
Also, you keep going on about how you have studied the markets and trends, well bully for you, but i dare say alot of other people on here do too. What makes you think you have been to the oxford university of print value studies while we have all been to grimsby polytechnic? In other words my maltese padre, what makes you an expert and us bow down to your knowledge, as far as i am aware you bought a banksy print, posted on here that you would never consider selling it in a million years and got loads of forum members to give you framing ideas and then the very next day you listed it on ebay!! 'circumstances had changed' then you took the piss asking Β£6500 for it and then shill bidded on it, then came on here and told an absolutely outragous lie about the bidder asking you to hand deliver the print to canada, then admitted to everyone that you were lying and that you had infact been shill bidding, took the item down, waited for everything to blow over and then listed it again quietly!! Can you not see why people might think you are a bit of a t**t? and a liar?
You are failing to grasp one simple truth..... if you come on this board preaching absolutes you will get a bashing for it. Try saying, 'in my experience' or 'in my opinion' or 'i might be wrong but.....' You dont, you come on here spouting off speculation and opinion as if it is fact which i dont see anyone else doing, so when i see it, it stands out like a sore thumb. and if you try to rip people off and lie and shill bid people wont forget
toodle pips

Try saying, 'in my experience' or 'in my opinion' or 'i might be wrong but.....' You dont, you come on here spouting off speculation and opinion as if it is fact which i dont see anyone else doing, so when i see it, it stands out like a sore thumb. and if you try to rip people off and lie and shill bid people wont forget toodle pips

I got accused on here, the accuser reported me to ebay, i got investigated for a month and then finally cleared after ebay had checked absolutely everything (including sending some embarrassing emails to my best customers)
So that stupid f**king joey on here actually cost me money by being a nosey, and ultimatly wrong bastard. oooh but i shall have my day of reckoning!! Vengence is mine sayeth the verbal!!

Beejoir π¬π§ LV Child β’ Imodium β’ Colour of Money, by arcam on Jul 17, 2007 0:57:32 GMT 1, I have to admit I'm always suspicious of private auctions. I don't see the point really especially now as ebay now protects the identity of bidders.
