Which football team do you support?, by mehor on Oct 2, 2016 6:56:16 GMT 1, I take Liverpool and hope they can restore their old tradition....and get that title like in the eighties when I was growing up in Germany and fell in love with Ian Rush, Peter Beardsley and John Barnes....did they not have a goalkeeper called Bruce Globlaar or so?
CL I would love Arsenal to go all the way....and do not forget, the real power is from Berlin called Ha Ho He Hertha BSCCCCCCCC

Which football team do you support?, by Jeezuz Jones Snr on Nov 4, 2016 6:41:22 GMT 1, Swansea city!!!!....we have stayed in the premier way longer than I thought and had some nice wins, nothing better than beating the billionaire sides. Best football we played was under laudrup, he got sacked (he lost interest) and things have gone tits up since.
This season is going bad we have new American owners (who are asset stripping the club) , we sold out two best players for 40m and didn't re invest ie. they pocketed the money. It's the way it is and we will end up like villa if we aren't careful. The yanks brought in a yank manager also who has managed in Egypt!! They should have got someone with proven experience.. Currently got a weak squad and if we don't get some wins before Xmas we will be down. Hopefully the new coach bob can turn it around.
Thesedays I'm living in Brisbane so only see the swans when back on holidays. Over here the 'A league' is improving and when my boy is old enough I'll start taking him to see Brisbane Roar..

Only a few years ago they were put into administration, after being unable to pay their top players' wages. They were handed a 10 point deduction and in the lower echelons of League One. There's talk they will be bought by a Chinese investor possibly in the near future and they have over the last few years had to sell most of their 'star' players. Fortunately their training academy is the best in the country and I love watching Premier League games knowing that at least 2 from each team is an ex-Saints player!
Last night beat Inter Milan 2-1 in possibly their biggest game in the club's history.
