Which football team do you support?, by niss on Aug 8, 2018 9:23:47 GMT 1, Eintracht Frankfurt! supporter since always, season ticket holder since 2011...
In may we won the DFB Cup vs Bayern Munich, our first title since 1988! Countless "miracles" and "disasters" in between.
I love my team but in the end they'll have shortened my lifespan by a couple of years I'm sure.

Which football team do you support?, by crkohler on Aug 8, 2018 14:42:44 GMT 1, Arsenal F.C. When I was growing up in the upper Midwest part of the US we only got to see 4 teams play on TV (Arsenal, Chelsea, Man U, or Liverpool) consistently. My first year I started watching was the year of the invincibles and I got drawn in by Henry and Bergkamp. Been riding the emotional roller coaster ever since. I also follow my local MLS team MN United but that Wenger team will always be my first love.

Which football team do you support?, by Daylight Robber on Aug 9, 2018 11:39:49 GMT 1, Stade Rennais in France ! I have a season tickets. We make the most beautiful tifo in europe last week : Olders : Everton FC fan here for my sins. The wife is from Rennes and related to someone on the board at Stade Rennais, so I have a little more than a passing interest for them too. I try to get to Roazhon Park most seasons. The quality of the football is usually poor but the atmosphere is always good (as are the gallettes saucisse)

Which football team do you support?, by arthurglass on Jan 25, 2019 21:01:56 GMT 1, Just thought id pop a quick entry in this thread and bring it back to the top.. What a great day I had in London on Saturday! Up The Clarets G Bought my Dad a programme for his birthday last year for the Wembley final between Burnley v Spurs when Jimmy Mc was playing for Burnley. My Dad was there as a young lad and despite it bringing back memories of a painful loss he said he could not remember receiving a better present.
My Dad got me into Burnley in the days of Billy Hamilton, Trevor Steven, Roger Hansbury, Martin Dobson when he cam back from Everton and now I am beginning to struggle but am getting a second wind- Mike Phelan Steve Deakin, Lee Dixon, Brian Laws and that is about it.
We had to stop watching Burnley as John Bond with his big cigar was destroying Burnley giving away players like Lee Dixon and Brian Laws which was sending my Dad's blood pressure through the roof. My Mum gave us an ultimatum which meant we had to quit watching Burnley. We now just watch Wigan Athletic but make sure it doesn't get obsessional.
Correction Ray Deakin I think.

Which football team do you support?, by thirdman on Feb 1, 2019 20:07:02 GMT 1, Luton Town FC. Had a really tough decade or so (administration, multiple season points deductions by the fa, dropping out of the football league, almost going bust) but currently chasing back-to-back promotions. Just lost our manager to Stoke, but the good form has continued and made some decent signings in the recent window.
Really good community club and some really good things have come out of the darkest of times for the club. First in England to pay staff the living wage, refused sponsorship from betting companies, and the excellent community trust charity continues to do some great work. Supporters trust now has part-ownership of the club and can effectively veto any future changes to the clubs identity (eg. name, nickname, colours, badge) regardless of future ownership. Sponsorship for a recent home game was given over to Luton Foodbank, raising lots of cash through sponsorship fees and a shirt auction.
Live up north now but try to get to away games, and a handful of home games when I'm back in the area.
Also watch a bit of Sheffield FC nowadays, the world's first football club

Which football team do you support?, by Coach on Mar 9, 2019 16:20:04 GMT 1,
Congratulations ferg. Although it pains me to say it, a deserved win. You had a stonewall penalty not given, and although I thought ours was a penalty at first, the replay suggests a dive. Two excellent goals from Brighton, and Murray showed his class when he didnโt celebrate his. A disappointing afternoon for me.

Couldnโt agree more ferg. A little friendly rivalry is fun. As soon as it approaches hatred or threatening behaviour, itโs pathetic and childish. Enjoy your day, my friend.

Which football team do you support?, by ashley123 on Sept 9, 2022 11:19:47 GMT 1, I moved to Liverpool and enrolled as an undergraduate. A friend took me to Anfield and I chose to support Liverpool FC. I'm looking forward to Chelsea v Liverpool on 18th September. Though I cut the cord, I was lucky to find sports streaming sites here so, I can enjoy the games again. How many of you do have cable tv? Where do you watch sports?

I am looking forward to their away match against Feyenoord Rotterdam, on the 9th of October :-)
