I'm not surprised he's raging, that's a completely normal reaction all things considered. That said! From a business perspective there comes a point when you have to decide if the pain of fixing something is greater than just cancelling.

It was basically a kickstarter for an established artist that has the money to pay for the production up front. You know these will sell out, why take peoples money before they are in hand.
