Banksy • Festival, Destroy Capitalism, by Rubberneck on Sept 16, 2020 11:36:26 GMT 1, There are no unsigned Radar Rats Yes, there is. I was told about an edition of 25 unsigned last year and thought that it was crap... I suspect they were backdoor as the edition was only signed.. but if someone could post up a COA I'd believe it then..

Are there issues in the grey with the first print ? Or just bad lighting?

You could complete the first trade of banksy swap for a detached 1/2 mill house in a few months at this rate 😂
I came across a thread 6 years ago and a member had 11 banksy prints all framed , do you beat this?

Unless I was already a millionaire, I would find it extremely hard to resist the temptation not to just keep a few favourites and sell the rest. Whatever the 11 are, that's a minimum of £500k on the wall. I don't think any piece of art could make my life better than £500k.

Banksy • Festival, Destroy Capitalism, by met on Sept 16, 2020 12:38:19 GMT 1, Is this the rarest of all unsigned prints ? No. Radar Rat is. There are no unsigned Radar Rats Yes, there is. No there isn't. Dirty Funker EP doesnt count Oh yes there is... Oh no there isn't.....as a print all signed edition of 75.
I wouldn't describe it as a proper edition — because it's likely to be a single print, and the result of a quick-fix response to an earlier human error at POW — but technically Radar Rat has become an unsigned edition of 25.*
As with many things Banksy-related, those with experience (and who've also learned from that experience) will appreciate how it can often be unwise to assert a negative by claiming something does not exist.

Banksy • Festival, Destroy Capitalism, by hnkpnk on Sept 16, 2020 15:31:29 GMT 1, there are a couple of threads on it on here, will try find them later but im pretty sure that even though they are numbered up to 500 that there are only circa 100 unsigned and 6 signed sets and the 6 signed were A/P’s. That said, you were at the show so you will know better than most😊 I was near the front of the queue, they set up some tables near the office at the entrance. I remember they did run out pretty quickly and was grateful to get some in hand but people still queued (to pay?) and to go on a list, so could be that only 100 were sold on the night and the rest sent out later, pretty sure thats what happened .. if any one has access to the old ebay forum threads I'll be on there as lukeandsuzy discussing it at the time. If there were only 100 I'll add that to the flagellation list along with the 14 other prints in the Sotheby's sale.... As I wrote on another thread (slightly edited):
"I'm pretty sure it's like this. All six Barely Legal prints were supposed to be 150 signed + 500 unsigned. At the show (and a bit after) there were about 100 of each unsigned released + pp's and a few VIP prints signed. All printed by Modern Multiples. So 100 unsigned and (my guess) about ten- fifteen signed of each of the six. (Maybe six p/p and the rest marked /150) The rest of the Modern Multiples editions were scrapped. Edit: MM never printed all the 6x650 prints because they didn't have enough time before the show opened.
POW later completed the editions for Morons, Grannies, Trolleys and Applause. That is, produced 400 unsigned and about 140 signed. (Plus new editions of sepia Morons (300) and color Trolleys (750) (and Bethlehem Trolleys )). Festival was only rereleased as an a/p edition of about 30 (can't remember the exact number) with a slightly different composition. Sale Ends was rereleased as a new, different edition of 500. The rest of the v1, signed and unsigned, was never released. "

Banksy • Festival, Destroy Capitalism, by dotdot on Sept 16, 2020 18:11:36 GMT 1, iirc Festival was printed by MM. ... the ap was printed by pow. (way later)
COA's came from PC .. so still not actually convinced there was 500. Even though PC COA says xx/500.
Also - not enough evidence to prove either way unless "PC says xxx coas' have been sent out.." - which i very much doubt they'd be inclined to do.
.. while we're at it MM sales ends V1 is nothing like V2 - which should tally with MM destroying the acetates (as per the video from MM on production of the "Barely Legal" prints) which brings the question so how did POW manage to produce the AP for Festival , if said acetate used by MM was destroyed.. ?
Festival is a tricky print.. to fathom.

There are two ap runs.
Edition 33 (these were apparently given away but it’s possible the full run wasn’t completed).
And edition 17 (various backgrounds). These are not hand finished though. Numbering here is AP/1, AP/2 AP/3 etc
