New Edition from DRAN, by Coach on Jan 14, 2017 21:54:46 GMT 1, what a dickhead! surely he took your pics because the print hasn t arrived over the pond yet... Not sure why he did it- his eBay name is 'printsess gallery' but not sure if that is an actual gallery. I contacted him and said I was reporting to eBay etc - he got back quickly and said he got the pictures off the Internet. He must be on here as the only place I've posted pics is here- I then think he clicked the link and used the other pictures that were in my Photobucket account! Anyway- he's removed them pretty quick. I guess I now understand why people say you shouldn't show the edition number. Also feel like deleting lots of my Photobucket pictures- in addition to the Dran ones I've already taken down. Anyway- thanks for the heads up on this whoever spotted it.
Or do what dappy does, and watermark them with your forum name. Haven't a clue how though.

New Edition from DRAN, by microfluo on Jan 15, 2017 13:59:13 GMT 1, I don't understand all the love of Dran. He seems to have the drawing skills of an 8 year old, but maybe that's his intention? Is there skill involved in his artwork and where is this "beauty" that everyone's referring to? I just don't get it right now. "...Virtuose, inspiré, son oeuvre déborde de beaucoup ce qu'on appelle le street art. Il faut le considérer tout simplement comme un poète qui serait au dessin ou à la peinture ce que Cioran est à la littérature, un créateur dont le travail bâti un refuge précaire entre l'inconvénient d'être né et la tentation d'exister."
Jean de Loisy, président du Palais de Tokyo, Paris. Mai 2016.
My english is not good enough to translate those words correctly. Maybe another member could translate it !

New Edition from DRAN, by Pjam on Jan 16, 2017 21:59:49 GMT 1, Prints arrived with considerable edge wear. Considering the cost of these I'm surprised at how poorly packaged they were. The tissue paper was folded in with force which created pressure on the ends of the prints. The shipping tube was super thin. Will email the gallery and hopefully figure something out.

Hopefully you get sorted. ADDA shipped up a lot of bust up tubes for the tiens print.

"Drawing skills of an 8 year old.." That's one dark 8 year old.. Thanks for posting those pics. I think I'm beginning to see the appeal. Those are a lot better than his prints, but probably not as friendly for a normal person's wall.

New Edition from DRAN, by tiny poubelle on Jan 27, 2017 17:55:18 GMT 1, I find the print really nice in the flesh. I expected something akin to a glossy poster but it almost has texture and I could be convince it was an actual painting.
As with others, it was wrapped and handled with all the care of my weekly fish and chips but it appears to have come through it relatively unscathed.
I'm looking forward to seeing them framed. We have two places in the house where I could possibly hang this and they're both presently occupied. I'll have a chat with the curator one night, when she's tipsy and see if we can get approval for one of the pieces to be relocated.

New Edition from DRAN, by ryanoh1 on Jan 28, 2017 9:56:54 GMT 1, Regrettable sale but the boiler has packed in and all other art is framed and on the wall, so this needs to be sold. Based in Hampshire - face to face deal would be best but am happy to post. £1070 was what I paid from Adda gallery and that's what I'm asking for it. Pictures posted earlier in this thread

this is how i've decided to frame R3FL3T ! There is a mirror on the back, the print is floating above it. Some space left between the two prints and the frame to see the reflection on the mirror.
