Ulster Museum - Lines of thought Exhibition, by kendo on Mar 11, 2017 20:39:36 GMT 1, Just a heads up to anyone in Northern Ireland or visiting to say that there is a fantastic new exhibition called 'Lines of thought: Drawing from Michelangelo to now' at the Ulster Museum. It's free to enter and runs from Fri 10 Mar 2017 - Sun 7 May 2017.
Placing contemporary artists side by side with master draftsmen across five centuries, Lines of thought explores the history of drawing as a thinking medium, giving us insight into the minds of some of the worldโs greatest artists in operation.
The works on show ranging from Michelangelo to Francis Bacon to Henry Moore to Bridget Riley plus many more was brilliant!
One highlight among many was the sketches by Bridget Riley showing the working / thought process behind her works!
Anyway, not urban but well worth a visit.
