For years. It would be a great shame if that changes. So you see no difference between a guy wanting to sell his Faireys in order to upgrade his collection and someone purely buying and selling direct afterwards just to make a profit? At least for me there is a huge difference between the two.
I don't particularly want to get in to a drawn out argument about this, as I've made my views known here and in the past.
But I will answer your question as it would be rude not to.
I don't see any particular difference, no.
I am of the opinion that in both cases the "collector" is making a profit out of someone else's creativity, having had no intention of enjoying the artwork before doing so. In both cases s/he is depriving someone else of buying the work at the price that the artist intended; and may not be able to afford the flipper's inflated price.
In both cases it's done for personal gain (whether monetary or owning more valuable art).
So no, no particular great difference.

what I meant Davie, was let the man ask what he wants, if he is way of tell him so, to low, tell him so, tell US so, because thats what I like about this forum, we can share info and opinions, someone think its to expensive gets a chance to say why they think it is , but at least he stated openly what he wished to get for them, which made it possible for all of us to take part in the discussion on whether it was or not, if he would have written send me a PM for prices most of this discussion would have take place behind closed doors and Id rather have good for sale threads where everyone can take part in a healthy discussion then antiflipping going overboard and creating more of those Shoot me a PM I got stuff for sale threads

I have noticed that many of the Invaders for sale are framed but irrespective of this they have been in collections for a few years. That's hardly the same as someone buying and immediately selling.
I am with other members who think that UAA shouldn't condone or promote flipping. This place will become a cut cost EBay without the benefit of EBay's star system.
The problem is that the more Ebay flippers that come on here, the more those who reject that type of thing will get shouted down.
The lunatics will take over the asylum.
