i dont generally have fake stuff around, but i will admit to a few large fake murakami flower pillows for people to actually sit on. they mix in nice with the real ones and i dont worry about people messing them up. win and win.

Just dropping them in an online store leads to bot fanaticism and frequent crashing of websites/apps, neither of which leave consumers happy.

Tough stuff. Apparently a bunch of people were waiting most of the day, there were different wristbands given indicating you could purchase certain items. By the time I drove over the sale was mostly wrapping up with a few folks loitering inside. The usual grimy characters, was going to see a UAA shirt :-(
Did hear it was a special pre-release sale and there was a crazy looking party happening with full lights show in the glass dome area of the museum.
All too high brow for a Flatbush roller like myself, sadly. The usual~

Otherwise you have to pay secondary market prices.
A mate I grew up with ended up in the accounts department at Nike, meaning he has to look after all the athletes' accounts. In affect he became the gatekeeper.
He doesn't care about the new sneakers only samples, vintage and PEs, so he regularly passes on his allocation and passes them at cost to friends and family. Usually they receive the pairs a week after the production date from China, which is months before a general release.
While we regularly catch up for banter, billiards and whiskies, I have never stretched the friendship to ask for a pair even though he has offered in the past. Knowing that I can get any release at cost makes any current sneakers less desirable to me.
I know that one can resell the shoes for a profit, but my focus is on other interests. I.e. vc, starting companies to flip and getting ready to participate in my first Gumball 3000.
That being said, I will happily stick with my John Lobbs and Stan Smiths.
