Anyway. Companion hands? Sure. Well in reality Mickey Mouse hands (that's another story I guess).
It's just they kind of get lost. Sure there's some visible pattern and reference and some hands hidden on the bottom. But the color, the texture (both of which mask the pattern to me) all scream Jordan and less Kaws. The XX on the back is a nice touch but probably the most Kaws part.
I guess the sole and the glow color hint a little to Kaws. But I'm pretty sure glow in dark is nothing new for Jordan. As is glow on dark that color. Not to mention I'm pretty sure I've seen Jordan 4s with glow in dark and in similar color...

I actually do like the shoe. Cause it's Screams Jordan. It doesn't scream Kaws. That's my point. Don't see why my opinion is anymore unnecessary then yours...

i think the ultra limited nature of these types of releases will start to backfire on the big sports and skate brands. Instead of hype and positivity, release after release just seems to cause animosity and negativity towards these brands. I wonder if thereโs any evidence either that these collaborations trickle down into increased sales of the regular mass produced trainers.

If these were general release with no resell value I'm sure most people here wouldn't be interested in them. Many artists have released collaboration sneakers before and they have sat on shelves for years such as Damien Hirst converse, kaws Nike air max 90s and many more. Nike have been falling behind adidas in terms of hype and popularity recently and this has been played out really well by them. (Nike still well ahead in sales but hype is free publicity and they haven't been doing so well) Also the plastics, rubber, foam etc that make up the show has a shelf life and won't be able to be displayed forever so wearing them and enjoying them is the way to do it, these won't be worth much more than double retail this time next year. These are made to be worn and if I got a pair i would wear them doesn't matter how much they are reselling for (I collect sneakers and have sneakers much more valuable than these Insta @yoyokop) I can get on board with most of what you said here but your claim that these wont be worth much more than double retail this time next year is just absolutely absurd. Like every other shoe, the price starts very high before release date, then comes down as people get their pairs on release day and look to flip and then slowly and steadily continually rise over time. Everyone just wants these to flip it's a nonsense. If these were general release with no resell value I'm sure most people here wouldn't be interested in them. Many artists have released collaboration sneakers before and they have sat on shelves for years such as Damien Hirst converse, kaws Nike air max 90s and many more. Nike have been falling behind adidas in terms of hype and popularity recently and this has been played out really well by them. (Nike still well ahead in sales but hype is free publicity and they haven't been doing so well) Also the plastics, rubber, foam etc that make up the show has a shelf life and won't be able to be displayed forever so wearing them and enjoying them is the way to do it, these won't be worth much more than double retail this time next year. These are made to be worn and if I got a pair i would wear them doesn't matter how much they are reselling for (I collect sneakers and have sneakers much more valuable than these Insta @yoyokop) I can get on board with most of what you said here but your claim that these wont be worth much more than double retail this time next year is just absolutely absurd.
